Superbowl commercials used to be good.

Great game. If the Lions Cards could stop getting penalties called against them and get a running game they could have done it. The 100 yard interception for a touchdown by James Harrison, for what I considered a 14 point swing, just before half time was huge. Fitzgerald was great. Big Ben handled the last drive expertly.

Now for the real reason people watch the super bowl.

The Commercials.

There were a few good ones but nothing that was just unthinkable. I think its not the the commercials have gotten worse. Its that the computer graphics have gotten so good. Plus we have been spoiled with good commercials all the time.

This is the bigest load of crap ever delivered by a commercial.

The real commercial should have been like this:
If it says Vizio you're probably a douche bag who shops for a TV at Costco or Sam's Club. Congratulation you will need to buy a new TV in 2 years. Because you're tired of the horrible picture or because its broken. Thank you for being the cheap bastard that wanted to have a flat screen TV. You are the definition of oxyMORON. You obviously did a great amount of research.

I know. I know. The week after Superbowl is the biggest week for TV returns ever and the week before the Superbowl is the third biggest week of the year for TV Sales (behind Week of black Friday and the week leading to Christmas) so advertising your TVs during the Superbowl is a great strategy.

I also love the Vizio advertises that they are a US company. Even though their TVs are made in the same places as everyone else. Parts in China. Assembled in Mexico. Sold to people who didn't want to do any research.

Sorry if I offended any Vizio owners. Good news for you though, you probably bought you TV at Sam's or Costco. Their return policy is probably bad for their buisness and will allow you to return it for any reason for a year. So take back the Vizio and get something good. I recommend Samsung, Sony, LG, or Panasonic.
